Bio : Cyrus Farivar [suh-ROOS FAR-ih-var] is a journalist, radio producer and author. He is also the senior business editor at Ars Technica. His book, The Internet of Elsewhere -- about the history and effects of the Internet on different countries around the world, including Senegal, Iran, Estonia and South Korea -- was published by Rutgers University Press in April 2011. He has reported for Deutsche Welle English, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, National Public Radio, Public Radio International, The Economist, Wired, The New York Times and many others. He has a B.A. in Political Economy from the University of California, Berkeley and a M.S. from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. He lives in Oakland, California.

Bio : Matt Fidler has been interested in sound and music since he was a young child. A lifelong musician, Matt has been working as a sound designer, audio engineer and composer since 1997. Bio : I\'m a hardworking radio producer with a chill attitude. When it comes to editing I\'m super meticulous. Currently, I\'m attending USC for journalism graduate school and went to NYU for undergrad, but I originally grew up in Maryland 30 minutes south of Baltimore. When done right, I find radio to be the most captivating media platform. And the people in radio are the most chill, down to earth people I\'ve meet. Bio : The Royal Australasian College of Physicians is an educational body representing over 14,500 physicians and paediatricians in Australia and New Zealand. The College is responsible for the training and assessment of doctors who have completed their medical degree and an internship at a hospital, and wish to practise as physicians or paediatricians by undergoing further training.

Why has the College joined AIR? Our continuing professional development (CPD) unit is piloting a series of podcasts on the clinical topics most requested by our membership. We have some radio experience but are learning as we go – and with the help of AIR, we should learn fast! Bio : Heard nationwide on public radio, David Freudberg is Executive Producer at Human Media (in the Boston area) and host of Humankind, a series profiling humanitarians produced in association with WGBH/Boston. Our weekly series and specials are heard on many public radio stations as well the NPR channels of SiriusXM satellite radio and on NPR Worldwide.

David has written and edited more than 800 productions including hundreds of pieces aired on NPR. He has produced over 100 full-length nationally broadcast documentaries on such themes as: conflict resolution, human rights, natural health and the spiritual journey -- see the full list at: www.humanmedia.org

In addition to single documentaries, his series have included: Humankind, Kindred Spirits, Walking through the Storm, The Medicine Garden, The Vegetable Chronicles and Thinking about Drinking.
