Bio : Hi all,

I am a freelancer living and working in Brooklyn, NY. I am currently working at StoryCorps, mainly leading research for the Print division. When I am not researching and pitching stories, interviewing potential participants over the phone, or listening to audio from the archive, I am editing audio interview transcripts.

Though my current focus is audio, I have experience working in a variety of media; I have composed long-form articles and produced a short video documentary. I have taught visual storytelling classes abroad and curated a multimedia storytelling museum exhibit. I have done voice acting for a live radio theater program and I am also a songwriter. Regardless of the medium I am working in, I have a passion for bringing stories to life.

I am eager to further develop my skills for a career in radio. I’m particularly interested in learning more about preliminary story research, audio recording/editing, and the nuances of writing for the air.
